The NDN was the first Micro-Slide with guide profiles ground in the main parts. Thanks to its 4 point contact balls it has excellent running precision and low moving forces
The NDN is used to guide very precise movements at high speeds and accelerations.

The MSK has 4 rows with 2 point arc profie. This allows an excellent smooth run with minimal moving forces.
The arc profile results in a very high load capability similar to the MSR type. The yaw moment is slightly lower.
The MSK is used when excellent smooth run and high loads are required.

The Micro-Slide MSR is based on a linear crossed-roller bearing with excatly the same dimensions as the NDN. This allows for much higher load forces and moments. Due to the lapped high precison rollers the MSR still has a very good smooth run.
The MSR is mainly used for high load applications on a very small footprint. Typical examples are very high accelartions drives which causes a high yaw moment on the bearing. The MSR is a very robust solution resulting in very high life times.
