Check valves

Flex Check® products are high-performance miniature check valves that can be easily and safely pressed into bore holes. They are completely made of stainless steel and are available in various sizes, opening pressures and installation types. The valves are versatile and suitable for liquids and gases.

The Flex Check® Zero Leak has integrated an additional plastic sealing element while maintaining exactly the same dimensions and is completely leak-free.

Wide variety of models

Flex Check® high performance check valves are available in various sizes and designs and are therefore suitable for a wide range of applications and media.

  • Scaled design with sizes from 4.5 to 10 mm
  • Standard sizes: 5.5 and 8.0 mm diameter
  • Opening pressures from 0 to 1 bar with 3 standard pressures: 0, 0.14 and 0.4 bar
  • 2 installation types: Flow towards (forward) and against the installation direction (reverse)
  • Zero Leak – leak-free valve for liquids and gases

Simple installation

Flex Check® high performance check valves are simply inserted into the bore and pressed in with the pre-assembled pin. This results in a tight and resilient connection with great advantages:

  • The 2-stage bore does not require any time-consuming machining, such as thread cutting.
  • No sealing necessary – a simple and inexpensive solution.
  • The valves hold securely even at high pressures and are absolutely tight over the long term.
  • Replacement of the valve is not necessary due to the very long service life of more than 10 million cycles.

Maximum performance and precision

Flex Check® high performance check valves are optimised for maximum flow, completely made of stainless steel and manufactured with the highest precision.   

 

  • Very high flow rates: 2.2 l/min (H2O @ 2 bar, continuous) at 5.5 mm nominal diameter
  • Very fast valve response due to 360° free opening gap
  • 2 to 3 times higher flow rates than comparable valves with pulsating flows
  • Very accurate opening pressures with tolerances of +/- 30 % in standard and +/- 10 % as an option /P
  • Low leakage rates on standard metal-to-metal seat valve
  • 100% leakage-free for gases and liquids with Version Z ("Zero Leak")
